Eligibility: Candidates must have passed in 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks, from any recognized Board. Admission Procedure: Candidates are admitted through CET-LAW entrance test, which is conducted by the University.
University Institute of Legal Studies Chandigarh was established in the year 2004 and it is affiliated to Panjab University. The college is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. In a very short pan it has emerged as one of the premier legal institutes of India with a unique combination of tradition and modernity. It has an independent four storeyed building consisting of 18 spacious classrooms and other modern facilities. The students are trained in techniques of procedural laws, essence of the substantive laws, methods of client counseling and skills of library and computer research. The college provides the most modern legal education through improved methods of teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession with well stocked Library, Seminar and Lecture halls, Computers with internet, Training and placements, Extra curricular activity and Hostel accommodation. The college offers five years undergraduate level Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
