The Oxford College of Hotel Management established in the year 1994 offers 4 year degree programme in Hotel Management, affiliated to Bangalore University, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The four-year professional Bachelor of Hotel Management degree is geared to creating professional managers, entrepreneurs and leaders in the hospitality industry. It represents the state of the art in hospitality education by preparing students to be action-oriented leaders. The course consists of study of core subjects - Food Production, Food Service, Housekeeping, Front Office and allied management subjects. The Eligibility Criteria A pass in the Pre-University conducted by the Karnataka Pre-university Board, or class XII of the 10+2 course or any other equivalent examination conducted by any other Board/ Pre-University. Students having passed foreign examinations recognized to the above will also be eligible for admission. Preference will be given to sc/st candidates and other backward catogories. Admission Procedure Those wishing to join the BHM course will be required to take the test, which will be followed by a group discussion. On the candidate successfully passing the test and interview, he/she will be provisionally admitted to the BHM programme.
