Eligibility: To be eligible, one must have passed LLB from any recognized University. Admission Procedure: The candidates have to appear in an entrance test, which is conducted by the University.
Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College was established in the year 1891 and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University. The college is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. It is one of the oldest law institutes in India. The College has got the perfect ambience to establish itself as a centre of distinction in legal studies and research and they all are putting in the most serious and genuine efforts for achieving the desired professional and academic excellence. The college offers three years and five years courses in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and five years postgraduate level Master of Laws (LLM).
