Eligibility: For Graduate engineers - Degree in mechanical / Naval Architecture. - AICTE approved B.E (marine engg.) degree is acceptable, subject to specific DGS approval only (with minimum Marks of 50% in the final year)
English Proficiency : The DG Shipping entry standards for the course prescribes that the candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in English subject in either 10 th or 12 th standard or Degree in Engineering course, conducted by a recognized Board or any University .
Course duration: ONE year, at the end of which the candidate is eligible to apply for CDC and exemption from Part- A of MOT examination for certificate of Competency
This is a DGS approved course. Hostel stay is compulsory within our campus for the duration of the course. Boarding will be provided at the hostel. Selection criteria: Based on written screening test and personal interview, academic credentials, aptitude. Written test will be conducted individually upon personal appearance on any working day, and result declared at the same time. Max Age 24 Years at the time of Commencement of course.
Medical: Must be physically fit, certified by registered medical practitioner. Eye sight: within plus or minus 2.5 and No colour blindness (must produce certificate from an eye specialist, ophthalmologist)
