The program will be conducted at the Tolani Maritime Institute campus at Induri and the duration of this program will be four months. The program would include courses in engineering, management and project work. Eligibility Criteria:- Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering. Sailing marine engineers with Certificate of Competency of Class IV or higher will also be eligible. The campus accommodation would be available, if required. Fees:- Rs. 3 lakhs Commencement and Duration:- Normaly the course commences on last Monday of August each year.

The minimum eligibility for courses in nautical science and Marine engineering is 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics. He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness. Candidates wishing to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy need to complete a Bachelors degree in Nautical Science or Marine engineering, before they can gain admission to the field.
