Eligibility: For Diploma engineers - Diploma in mechanical / Marine engineering / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Naval architecture / Shipbuilding engineering
English Proficiency: The DG Shipping entry standards for the course prescribes that the candidate should have obtained atleast 50% marks in English subject in either 10 th or 12 th standard or Diploma in Engineering course, conducted by a recognized Board or any University . Selection criteria: Based on written screening test and personal interview, academic credentials, aptitude. Written test will be conducted individually upon personal appearance on any working day, and result declared at the same time.
MAX AGE: 22 yrs at the commencement of course. For candidates with Diploma in Ship building Max Age: 23 yrs.
Medical: Must be physically fit, certified by registered medical practitioner. Eye sight: within plus or minus 2.5 and No colour blindness (must produce certificate from an eye specialist, ophthalmologist)
