FAD International Courses Offered

The FAD Academy Film and Video Course is an intense one-year programme in which the full range of film-making skills are taught at appropriate professional levels to students at any entry level. The Course Programme is written and thought by Flavius Pisapia, an Italian Filmmaker.

Entry Requirements:-

A Levels / 12th Pass Outs. Students having passed 10th can be accepted through a personal interview. This course is also ideal for individuals pursing an alternate degrees or a profession.
 

The one year programme is aimed at delivering a professional learning to individuals having a passion for the industry. The course looks at both studio and outdoor photographic techniques with emphasis on digital photography.

Students get an opportunity to use a well equipped photography studio with further digital editing facilities on both MAC and PC based editing softwares.

The course is aimed at individuals interested in pursuing careers as amateur/ semi-professional/ professional photography with varied specializations

The Post Graduation Programme has a higher emphasis on professional practice within a global context. Students are encouraged to work towards a self initiated project proposal with a strong emphasis on research and interdisciplinary experimentation. Students work on projects enabling them to experience all the facets of Fashion Marketing & Retail. The programme also has a focus on ethics in fashion thus making the students aware and responsible through their creative outputs. Combined with guest faculties from the industry and international universities, students are exposed to a variety of critiques and audiences across the industry. The Europe Study Tour further gives students a unique opportunity to interact with international designers, brands and academicians and visit the fashion weeks, thus giving them a platform to progress onto the professional world. Students work both individually and in groups with professionals from other departments such as photography, media, art, styling, fashion design etc. At the end of the year students are given an internship to facilitate progression into professional careers in their area of interest. Students can work as marketers, brand managers, retail managers, fashion communicators, PR Consultants for international companies or as freelance consultants.

Entry Requirements:-

Graduates or 2 / 3 Year Diploma holders in any stream. Mature students with professional work experience can apply with a suitable portfolio of work.


 

The Postgraduate Programme is intended to assist new graduates in achieving this goal whilst facilitating rather than encroaching on their creative drive. The course enables artists, designers and theorists to develop their practice in one or more fine art disciplines. Students are able to pursue a practice & theory-based programme in areas including graphic fine arts, painting, sculpture, design communications, contemporary art & history of art.
Students are encouraged to explore interdisciplinary and experimental approaches to the advanced study of fine art. Students are taught by professional artists and are exposed to a variety of critiques and audiences across the spectrum of practice. They are expected to make a full contribution to the interdisciplinary debate and are encouraged to develop a self proposed professional work as part of the final portfolio.

Entry Requirements:-

Graduates or 2/3 Year Diploma holders in any field of Art & Design.  Mature students with relevant work experience and a strong portfolio can be considered.

 

The three year programme in Fashion Design allows students to progress from a foundation to a professional level in various stages with a mix of guided and studio based self learning approach.

Entry Requirements:-

12th Pass Outs in any stream / successful completion of FAD Foundation in Art & Design / A Levels or equivalent international qualifications.

 

The three year programme in Fine Art allows students to progress from a foundation to a Professional level in various stages with a mix of guided and studio based self learning approach.
